About us
Welcome to CleverBubs Music – where the world of music meets the wonders of early brain development! We are thrilled to embark on this journey with you and your little one, as we explore the profound connections between music and neural growth in the earliest stages of life.
Meet Miss Sibby and Mr Andy, the creators behind CleverBubs Music.
As professional musicians, songwriters, and performers, they've spent their lives immersed in music and the creative arts; however, it was the arrival of their own child, born slightly prematurely, that ignited their passion for early childhood education and brain development through music.
Drawing inspiration from their extensive musical backgrounds and experience performing and teaching music in schools in both Australia and London UK, and a keen interest in early childhood development, Miss Sibby and Mr Andy immersed themselves into research within the area of neuromusic, and developed a unique musical program tailored to their young one's needs. After lots of interest and encouragement from friends and family they decided to take it further and create a program they could share with others.
Our classes are built on a foundation of neuro-musical research. Every song and piece of music has been carefully crafted specifically for our program, referencing the latest studies and research into music and it’s relationship with early brain development.
But our classes are not just educational; they are FUN! We strongly believe that learning and musical exploration should be joyous and engaging for both children and parents alike.
Together, we'll embark on a musical adventure filled with singing, rhythmic movement, musical stories, sensory experiences, “high information” & world music, and interactive musical play. Through music, we aim to unlock the boundless potential within your child's developing brain, fostering a lifelong love for music and learning.
MORE INFO:
At CleverBubs, we understand the extraordinary potential that music holds when it comes to nurturing and stimulating the developing brains of infants and young children.
Our program is founded on the principles of neuromusical research, a fascinating field that explores the intricate relationship between music, cognition, and the developing brain.
Research has shown that exposing babies and toddlers to music from an early age can have a profound impact on their cognitive, emotional, and social development. The neural connections forged during these crucial years lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and creativity. The specific songs and rhythms that we have created for our classes have been carefully designed to harness the full potential of music in supporting your child's neurological growth and enhancing their overall well-being - all whilst emphasising the FUN that music brings.
If you’d like to read more about some of the science and studies done on music and it’s relationship with early neurological development, we have written a fairly comprehensive blog post exploring all this here:
How Music Enhances Early Childhood Learning:
A Scientific Perspective
In addition to the neurological benefits, children who have experienced early music education often display enhanced musical aptitude as they grow older. It introduces children to key musical concepts like pitch, rhythm, and melody during their formative years, providing a solid groundwork for future instrument learning. This early exposure not only enhances their musical aptitude but also makes the process of mastering instruments more enjoyable and successful, setting the stage for a lifelong love of music.
Join us at CleverBubs Music as we explore melody, harmony, rhythm and movement together, and discover the transformative power of music in your child's early years.
